Where does your water come from?

The Hillsborough River, a precious water resource and Tampa's primary water supply, is treated and filtered through our water treatment plant to supply Tampa's community, as well as portions of unincorporated Hillsborough County, with clean, reliable, and high quality drinking water.

"We’re not just delivering water, we’re investing in Tampa’s future. Through forward-thinking and open communication, we’re committed to doing what’s right for our community."

Rory Jones, P.E.

Water Department Director
