Join us at City of Tampa's first Compost Pick-Up event!

Register online for a spot on Saturday, June 8th, 2024 starting at 9:00 AM at the David M Barksdale Active Older Adult Center Parking Lot for access to our City's first ever compost giveaway. Bring your own containers and collect up to 30 gallons (4 cubic-feet) of compost to use as mulch, soil amendment, and more.

This event is a great opportunity to learn about the benefits of composting and how it can positively impact the environment. See what our City's yard waste is getting turned into!

Spaces are limited. Please select ONE (1) pick-up time while registering. Please come during your registered pick-up window; showing up outside of your registered time may forfeit your registration. Those without a registered spot will not be allowed to pick up any compost.

This is a Solid Waste-organized event; please do not call Barksdale Center, the registration process is strictly online.
