Join us for our 2nd Saturday community gardening program How to Compost.

Learn the basics of composting! What to compost, how to do compost, what are the benefits, and how to use it. Help save precious nutrients from being wasted and repurpose them into a nutrient rich soil amendment. Help grow your garden and bring your organic scraps or start a compost bin of your own at home.

If you reside in an eligible single-family home residence within City of Tampa, you’re eligible to receive a free composting bin for your yard. All bins are delivered to you after completing the class.

This workshop is led by City of Tampa’s Solid Waste Department
