CITY OF TAMPA FISCAL YEAR (FY) 2025 ANNUAL BUDGET

AND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM BUDGET

The public is invited to participate in this public hearing for the purpose of permitting any and all citizens desiring to do so to submit their criticisms, recommendations or suggestions in writing or make oral comments and ask questions concerning the proposed FY 2025 City of Tampa budget. Members of the public can either attend this public hearing in person in City Council Chambers located in Old City Hall or virtually participate in this public hearing by using what is referred to by State of Florida statutes and rules as “communications media technology” or “CMT”.

 

Pre-Registration is required to speak virtually during “Public Comment” with the use of CMT:

In order to participate in the public hearing with the use of CMT, please complete the form at https://www.tampa.gov/PublicComment AND state on the form under “Request Type” that you wish to speak live during the public comment period. You will then be contacted with additional instructions on how to participate live through the use of CMT. Registration for speaking remotely with the use of CMT must be requested at least 24-hours prior to the meeting. Please contact the City Clerk’s Office at 813-274-8397 or at CityClerkStaff@tampagov.net if you have any questions regarding participation or registration.

Copies of the entire proposed budget are available for review on the City’s website at https://www.tampagov.net/budget or at the City Clerk’s Office, 3rd Floor, Old City Hall, 315 East Kennedy Boulevard, Tampa, Florida, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (excluding City holidays). Please also check the City’s website at https://www.tampagov.net for additional information and updates regarding public participation in the public hearing with the use of electronic media or in person.

 

Please note that if any person decides to appeal any decision made by Council, with respect to any matter considered at the meeting or hearing, they will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based (F.S. 286.0105).
