Starting at 9 am on January 16, the eastbound inside lane of W Kennedy Blvd between N Willow and S Oregon Avenues is closing while Wastewater Department crews begin emergency repairs on a sewer mainline pipe. Signage installed at the work site will direct eastbound traffic to merge into the outside lane. Traffic control devices will be in the area to assist with rerouting and traffic flow. Access will be maintained for residences and businesses in the area. Motorists are advised to consider alternate routes and use caution when driving in the area.
This repair and restoration of the road is scheduled to be completed no later than Friday, January 19. Normal traffic patterns will then resume. A map of the work area and lane shifts is embedded below. Work schedules are contingent upon weather conditions.
