City of Tampa Healthy Homes Program

Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has granted the City of Tampa funds to assist the City with the inspection of homes for low-income households for housing related hazards. The funds will be used specifically to inspect low-income households for housing related hazards, such as lead-based paint, radon, allergens, mold, and other home safety issues and to provide remediation of such hazards, if present.

The Healthy Homes Program (HHP)’s mission is to protect the most vulnerable families in the community from housing related hazards by preserving affordable housing, improving housing conditions, and improving neighborhoods in Tampa, Florida.
