Resolution making certain changes in the budget of the City of Tampa for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2024; approving the transfer, reallocation, and/or appropriation of $17,100,000 within the Solid Waste Operations Fund for use by the Department of Solid Waste & Environmental Program Management for additional landfill and contractual hauling expenses; providing an effective date.

Motion: (Hurtak-Clendenin) That the Solid Waste Department be requested to present an in-person report on September 19, 2024 under Staff Reports and Unfinished Business, on the status of the McKay Bay Waste-to-Energy Retrofit/Upgrade Project; further, that said report include an explanation of the recent construction delay, added costs associated with any delays, and the anticipated additional time needed for the project completion. Motion carried unanimously with Henderson being absent.
