Starting August 13 at 9am, Wastewater Department crews are closing E Lake Ave between N 33rd and N 31st Streets to install a sewer lateral. Eastbound traffic detours will begin at N 34th Street and westbound traffic detours will begin at N 31st Street. Barricades and signage will be in place to assist with traffic flow and detour motorists around the closed section of road. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses in the area. Motorists are advised to consider alternate routes while this work is ongoing.
This construction and restoration of the work area are scheduled to be completed no later than close of business on Friday, August 16. Normal traffic patterns will then resume.
