Beginning at 9 am today (12/28/2023), the northbound lane on Bayshore Boulevard will be closed between Sanders Drive and West Shell Point Road while the Tampa Water Department repairs a water main break. Barricades and flaggers will be located in the area to assist with rerouting and traffic flow. All lanes will reopen to traffic by 4pm today, and then close on Friday, December 29 at 9 am to continue the work. Please use caution when driving in the area.
The completion of the work with a return to normal traffic patterns is expected by 4 pm, Friday, December 29. Work schedules are contingent upon weather conditions. The staff and crews of the Tampa Water Department appreciate everyone's patience during this time.
