In January 2022, the City of Tampa broke ground on the City Center at Hanna Avenue (2555 East Hanna Avenue). The 161,000 sq. ft. building and adjacent greenspace known as “Hanna Square” serves as a gathering space for neighborhood residents while housing City departments. This municipal building increases efficiencies across City operations, brings government closer to the people, and represents a brighter future for all of Tampa. The City Center is open to the public.
