Example of Purchasing Bid Opportunities

The Equal Business Opportunity (EBO) Program was created to help Women/Minority Business Enterprises (W/MBEs) and Small Local Business Enterprises (SLBEs), Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), and LGBT Owned Businesses flourish. Businesses can find resources, access business opportunities, and enroll in training with the EBO Division. Certification services are provided at no cost to W/MBEs and SLBEs. Please peruse our “Welcome Letter” below and the entire EBO website for a host of helpful information. The EBO Division stands ready to provide City of Tampa Certified Firms with procurement and contractual opportunities to help them grow and thrive.

Testimonials

Thank you for the support and seminars you put together. When I started my company 21 years ago, I took advantage of all that was offered. My certification helped me as we grew into a 20-year-old successful company. You are very much appreciated! Sincerely, Patricia
The EBO program has transformed not only our business model but has created four more roles within our organization, which is the true story of why the EBO Program is necessary within the communities, and that is to stimulate small business involvement and growth. Without the EBO Program, our business would not have evolved to what it is today…. Janine Grant - The Boundless Group
