The City of Tampa honored Janna Stephens, Senior Convention Services Manager, for serving 30 years at Tampa Convention Center.
During the city’s 2022 Employee Service Awards Ceremony, Tampa Convention Center Director David Ingram presented a Certificate for 30 Years of Service to Janna.
Janna started working for the Tampa Convention Center and the City of Tampa in November 1992. She worked as the Convention Services Manager until she was promoted to Senior Convention Services Manager in 2019. She has maintained certification as a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP).
Janna said her favorite aspect of her role is building relationships with clients and partners.
“When you work closely together and then see the same clients return for annual events, some become like family,” Janna said.
