Description
This project improves 2.93 miles of roadway to improve Air Force Base access. Interbay Boulevard will be converted from an existing 2-lane undivided road to a 3-lane divided road, west of Dale Mabry Hwy (SR 573), and pavement will be resurfaced and restriped. The project will construct intermittent widening of the roadway to accommodate a center two-way left-turn lane (or intermittent left-turn pockets) along the corridor from West Shore Blvd to Dale Mabry Hwy (SR 573). This project is supported by MacDill Air Force Base, the Department of the Air Force, and neighborhoods surrounding the corridor.
