Manager Of Downtown, Channel District, Central Park, Tampa Heights Riverfront Community Redevelopment Areas

Rob Rosner is responsible for managing four urban CRA areas which include Downtown, Channelside, Tampa Heights, and Central Park. Rob has managed and worked with numerous CRAs in the Florida Panhandle area prior to moving to Tampa. Rob is a Registered Landscape Architect (RLA) who has practiced landscape architecture and urban design for over 20 years in both the public and private sectors.

Rob Rosner began his career in Indianapolis, Indiana working for various architecture and engineering firms on development and redevelopment projects throughout the northeast US, Midwest, and Southeast US. Rob has worked closely with numerous developers from all across the country. Rob holds a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from Purdue University as well as Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Troy University. Rob is a member of the Pi Alpha Alpha Honor Society for Public Administration. Rob holds a certification from the Florida Redevelopment Association as a Certified Redevelopment Administrator (FRA-RA). He has received several awards over his career which include: AIA Monumental Award for Excellence in Design & Development for the Indiana State Museum, AIA Monumental Honor Award for Downtown Development for the Clarian People Mover in Indianapolis, Florida ASLA Award of Merit for NatureWalk at Seagrove Patterns for Placemaking, and the Silver Addy Award for St. Andrews Walking Tour.

Rob Rosner is serving as a volunteer Board member for several area organizations including The Glazer Children’s Museum Board and the Tampa Bay History Center Board. Rob enjoys sharing his passion for development and redevelopment through public engagement and implementing the strategic action plans set forth by the City.
