Building Community Partnerships with the Progress Village Collection

Thursday, July 17^th • 2:00p.m.

USF Libraries • 4202 East Fowler Avenue, 1^st Floor, 125G

With support from the Hillsborough County Planning Commission and the USF Masters in Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) program, the USF Libraries' Digital Initiatives unit digitized the Progress Village collection over the 2024-2025 academic year. In collaboration with USF’s Planner-in-Residence Amber Dickerson and a MURP studio class, the archives are coming to life through exhibits and interactive online collections that includes images, records, oral histories, and maps of this historic Tampa community. Come to learn about the launch of this exciting project and future plans.
