What are mobile payment apps?
Mobile payment applications (apps) are interfaces that allow a customer to pay for parking using a smart phone or mobile device without needing to interact with a pay station. The City of Tampa currently offers four (4) different mobile payment apps for customers to utilize that can be found on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
What mobile payment apps can I use?
The City of Tampa currently partners with the following mobile payment apps.
Passport Mobile App
Pay By Phone Mobile App
Park Mobile Mobile App
Flowbird Mobile App
How does it work?
- Look for the sign or sticker with the parking zone number.
- Use your preferred mobile app or mobile website to enter the zone number listed on the sign and choose your parking duration.
- Instead of utilizing a receipt to place on the car dashboard, your vehicle license plate will serve as the credential.
Is there a fee for using mobile payment apps?
Yes, a convenience fee will be charged for each transaction using the indicated mobile payment application.
