City of Tampa Grant Opportunities

Funding Opportunities for Community Partners

The Grants Office supports Tampa's nonprofits, businesses, and internal City Departments in their efforts to seek Federal, State, Local, Foundation, and Private Grants. If you are pursuing a grant and need to supplement your grant application with a Grant Letter of Support, Grant Matching Funds Commitment Letter (internal), or an In-Kind Support Letter please follow the guidelines provided on their website.

At various times throughout the year, City Departments may solicit bids to provide professional services, equipment, or other related services with grant funding. All non-governmental entities seeking to provide expertise or services can visit the websites of the Contract Administration Department, and the Purchasing Department for additional information.

The Economic Opportunity Department coordinates citywide redevelopment and community planning initiatives and markets redevelopment opportunities to the private sector. They have a variety of incentives and programs to help businesses achieve their goals.

The City of Tampa’s Community Redevelopment Areas (CRA) invest in neighborhood redevelopment to make Tampa’s neighborhoods more attractive, safe, convenient, environmentally healthy, and economically strong. The Tampa CRA provides property owners with financial assistance to improve the appearance of their properties in designated areas.
