As part of its ongoing efforts to keep adults engaged and active within their communities, Tampa Parks and Recreation's Davis Barksdale Senior Center will be hosting its annual Thanksgiving Dance today.
From 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., active members of the City of Tampa's Parks and Recreation programming are welcome to join the festivities and learn more about the programs available to individuals ages 50 and up. Tickets are $12 and include a catered lunch by Tio Antonio's Catering Co. and music and entertainment by DJ Sounds from DJ Mike.
Special events will be taking place at community centers across the city as a way for the Parks and Recreation Department to show its Thanksgiving gratitude to its active members. The Thanksgiving Dance is a fan favorite and draws dozens of attendees who are excited to show off their dance moves and spend time with their friends.
