Tampa Police are currently investigating a suspicious death near W Hyde Park Pl and S Parker St.
At approximately 7:12 p.m., officers responded to the occurred location following a report of an unconscious subject near the roadway. Upon arrival, officers located a female in her mid-teens with upper body trauma.
The victim was pronounced deceased on the scene.
Investigators are actively working to gather additional evidence and leads in this case.
There is no apparent threat to public safety.
