TAMPA, Fla.- The Tampa Police Department is proud to announce the launch of a new and improved system for receiving news releases from our department.
Starting Monday, June 17, 2024, the Public Information Office will begin to transition away from the Media Alert system. To subscribe to receive news releases, please visit: Tampa.gov/TampaPDNews
"We are excited to offer this improved service to the public," said Chief Lee Bercaw. "The Tampa Police Department is committed to transparency and looks forward to better serving our community through enhanced communication channels."
During this transition period, the Public Information Office will continue distributing news releases via Media Alert to ensure that everyone remains informed and has sufficient time to register for the new system.
