The City of Tampa is excited to announce the launch of “Suds and Solutions,” a unique initiative aimed at providing residents with valuable information on city services and programs while they enjoy free laundry services. This community-focused event will take place on July 10, 2024, from 2 PM to 5 PM (last wash at 4:30 PM) at Riverside Laundromat, located at 906 West MLK Jr. Boulevard in Tampa.
"Suds and Solutions" offers Tampa residents an opportunity to learn about a wide range of city services, from public safety to housing programs, all while their laundry is being washed. The event is free and open to the public, featuring various City of Tampa department employees who will be on-site to provide information and answer questions.
“We are always looking for innovative ways to connect with our residents and provide them with the resources they need. 'Suds and Solutions' is a perfect example of how we can bring our services directly to the community in a convenient and helpful manner,” said Mayor Jane Castor.
"Suds and Solutions" is hosted by the City of Tampa Community Engagement & Partnerships team in collaboration with Current Initiatives, the local non-profit organization behind The Laundry Project.
