The Tampa Convention Center is closed Tuesday, October 8 and Wednesday, October 9 based on the anticipated risk of Hurricane Milton. Determinations will be made regarding Thursday, October 10. The Sail Plaza and Big Ray's Fish Camp are also closed and will remain closed until it is safe to reopen.

The Tampa Convention Center team implemented standard protocols for hurricane preparations, including placing sandbags and protective waterproof coverings at entrances.

Once the storm passes and it is safe for our team to access the property, our Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering team will quickly survey our facility for any potential damage and begin the cleanup process.

Our team members stand ready to activate post-storm procedures to resume normal operations as soon as it is safe to do so. We will share updates when available.
