The City of Tampa removed the two-hour max restriction for downtown on-street parking to improve the customer experience and make parking more convenient.

As part of the City of Tampa Parking Division's continuous effort to simplify its parking policies and procedures, the division recently removed the two-hour max restrictions for "on-street" parking in the Downtown Central Business District.

Effective immediately, customers will no longer be required to renew their parking sessions every two hours. Instead, they will be able to choose their desired duration at the beginning of the parking session. This change will help make on-street parking downtown more convenient and support the city's mission of improving community-centric services.

Parking sessions may be started via the Parkmobile App or at a parking kiosk nearby.
