This information is 3 years 11 months old and may no longer be accurate.

The City of Tampa Department of Solid Waste & Environmental Program Management along with Mayor Jane Castor will be sharing Holiday greetings at St. Joseph’s Hospital with the help of decorated garbage trucks, Santa, and Department staff. Tampa’s Solid Waste essential workers want to give thanks to the medical field essential workers and remind the patients inside, there are many outside who care and are rooting for them. Pandemic safety being priority, the greetings will be shared outside and all those participating will be wearing masks. The event will take place during the morning shift change at the hospital. BayCare team members will be cheered on and recognized for their hard work and dedication through this very tough year. Patients and staff inside will also be able to join in by peering out of their windows, receiving waves and well wishes from those outside and Mayor Castor will record a special video message for them.
