The City of Tampa Construction Services Division is expanding its same day plan review. The FAST PASS Program is designed to process same day plan review for qualifying projects.
WHO: Construction Services Division staff, contractors, designers, authorized agents and residents with a project from the qualifying projects listed below.
WHAT: Professional Plan Reviewers from the Construction Services Division will review plans same day, electronically, and by virtual appointment on Thursday. The Fast Pass program will include for Residential: screen enclosures, pools, perimeter walls, generators, foundation stabilizations, alterations and driveways. Commercial will include: perimeter walls and antennae for existing towers. To allow suitable time for application, review and permit issuance, appointments are required. This service is dedicated to the specific projects mentioned which do not require review or participation by other divisions, departments, or outside agencies (i.e. Historic Preservation, Natural Resources, Zoning, FEMA, Right of Way, FDOT) other than the Construction Services Division.
