Flag raising kicks off METRO’s commitment to doubling services capacity by 2021
Mayor Jane Castor, Metro Inclusive Health and community leaders are closing out the month of PRIDE while raising the roof of inclusivity at one of Tampa’s oldest landmark buildings, Tuesday, June 30 at 10:30am at the Historic German American Club, 2105 North Nebraska Avenue.
Originally built in 1912 as an inclusive gathering place for locals, the historic building will soon double METRO’s capacity to offer life-changing healthcare and social support services to our Tampa Bay community. Tours of the historic building will be offered following the ceremony.
Founded in 1993, METRO offers over 100 services and programs focused on the health and wellness of Tampa Bay provided regardless of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, religious or spiritual beliefs or financial means.
