Tampa Parks and Recreation’s Davis Islands Boat Ramp improvement project is coming to a close and is set to be completed on May 8. The renovations included the replacement of the docks with concrete floating docks, a kayak launch was added, a portion of the concrete was replaced, and the ramp and dock area was dredged.
As we re-open Davis Islands Boat Ramp, we will be closing our Lowry Park boat ramp, located at 7525 North Boulevard, also on Friday, May 8, for prescheduled renovations. Improvements will include replacement of existing dock and seawall along the southern side of the ramp. The new dock will consist of a fixed portion and a floating section with kayak launch. Construction is expected to be completed by early June.

- Ballast Point Park, 5300 Interbay Blvd
- Davis Islands, 864 Severn Ave
- Picnic Island Park, 7409 Picnic Island Blvd
