Tampa Police Department has launched a new system that allows citizens to file reports online, the Desk Officer Reporting System or DORS.

You can access the online reporting by going to www.tampagov.net/PoliceReport

The person filing the report must have a valid email address and be 18 years of age or older. The offense being reported must have occurred within the City of Tampa.

You can also add information to an existing report. Be sure to have the original report number.

"Quick Connect" is an available feature that allows users to get a link via text message. Dial 1-844-975-1719, enter your 10-digit phone number, and Quick Connect will send a mobile link to your phone to file your report.

You can also call the Tampa Police Department at 813-231-6130, and a dispatcher can assist you with online reporting.
