A Tampa Police officer is currently on administrative leave after being arrested on Sunday night.
Officers were called to the New Tampa home of Clarence Nathan, who has worked as a Tampa Police officer for 8 years, for a domestic dispute on February 5, 2023. Nathan and an adult female victim were in a verbal dispute when, according to the victim, Nathan grabbed her in a “bear” hug and pushed her. The victim suffered very minor injuries.
Nathan was arrested for misdemeanor battery and booked into the Orient Road Jail. He is currently on administrative leave as the incident is being investigated.
