Tampa Water Department Helps Customers ‘Resolve to Save Water’ in the New Year

The Tampa Water Department is helping its customers keep a very important New Year’s resolution: saving water. The department is offering a series of workshops that focus on conserving water and in the process, lowering monthly water bills. There will be five workshops in the month of January, with the first one taking place Tuesday, January 10.  

The workshops are taught by members of the Water Department’s conservation team and touch on a variety of topics. You can find the schedule below: 

  • January 10, 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm: Tampa’s Water Use Restrictions Workshop  
    • Location: Jan Platt Library at 3910 S. Manhattan Ave, Tampa 
  • January 11, 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm: Understanding Your Irrigation System Controller Workshop  
    • Location: Jan Platt Library at 3910 S. Manhattan Ave, Tampa 
  • January 20, 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm: Checking for Indoor Leaks Workshop  
    • Location: C. Blythe Andrews Library at 2607 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Tampa 
  • January 24, 11:00 am to 12:00 pm: Checking for Indoor Leaks Workshop  
    • Location: North Tampa Library at 8916 N. Blvd, Tampa 
  • January 27, 10:30 am to 11:30 am: Understanding Your Irrigation System Controller Workshop  
    • Location: North Tampa Library at 8916 N. Blvd, Tampa
