Brynn Showalter, Certified Meeting Planner and Convention Services Manager at Tampa Convention Center, has been appointed to a leadership role for a national event industry association. She was selected to serve on the Board of Directors for the Event Service Professionals Association (ESPA).
“Our Board of Directors is filled with so many knowledgeable professionals and I am so fortunate to be able to be part of this amazing team,” Brynn said.
ESPA is the only association dedicated to event and convention service professionals from venues, including convention centers, in the United States, with members from all across the country.
“Seeing Tampa Convention Center represented in the leadership of ESPA shows that Tampa is focused on staying connected to our industry peers, dedicated to learning best practices, and invested in the overall success of the meetings industry,” Brynn said.
Brynn has been a member of ESPA for five years. She has also worked at Tampa Convention Center for five years, planning events such as the EventFest Gasparilla Pre-Invasion Brunch and the Florida Music Education Association (FMEA) Conference.
