The outside westbound lane on West Waters Avenue is now closed between North Ola Avenue and North Lynn Avenue while the Tampa Water Department conducts maintenance on the water distribution system. All lanes will reopen to traffic by 5pm each night, and close again at 9am the following morning to continue the work. During the course of this work, crews will also reopen all lanes to weekend traffic between 5pm, Friday, June 16 to 9am, Monday, June 19. Barricades and signs are located in the area to assist with rerouting and traffic flow. Please consider alternate routes and use caution when driving in the area.
The completion of the work with a return to normal traffic patterns is expected by 5pm, Monday, June 19. Work schedules are contingent upon weather conditions. The staff and crews of the Tampa Water Department appreciate everyone's patience during this time.
