At 9:47 pm on July 28, Tampa Police were dispatched to the 3600 block of E. Shadowlawn Ave for the report of someone possibly being shot. Officers arrived on scene and found an abandoned black 4-door Infiniti parked on the south side of the road. There were several visible pools of blood in and around the car, but no apparent victims.
Shortly after, Tampa Police were notified that four (4) black males with gunshot wounds, three in their early thirties and one in his late thirties, had been transported by private vehicle to a local hospital. One subject, in his early thirties, later died because of his injuries.
Detectives continue working to gather evidence and develop leads in this investigation to determine what led to the shooting and the identity of all involved.
