Starting at 9am on August 14, Wastewater Department crews will close the southbound and northbound center lanes on S Manhattan Ave between Henderson Blvd and W Palmira Ave to replace a deteriorated manhole frame and cover. Right turn restrictions from W Palmira Ave will be in place while this repair is in progress. Traffic control devices will be in the area to assist with rerouting and traffic flow. Access will be maintained for residences and businesses in the area. Motorists are advised to consider alternate routes and use caution when driving in the area.
This repair and restoration of the road is scheduled to be completed by Friday, August 18. Normal traffic patterns will then resume.
