Starting at 9am on September 11, Wastewater Department crews will close a section of W Swann Ave between S Oregon and S Orleans Avenues to begin repairs on a sewer pipeline. Detour signage and traffic control devices will be in the area to assist with rerouting and traffic flow. Turn restrictions will also be in place. Access will be maintained for residences and businesses in the area. Motorists are advised to consider alternate routes and use caution when driving in the area.
This work and restoration of the road is scheduled to be completed no later than Friday, September 15. Normal traffic patterns will then resume.
