Southbound lane closure on Bayshore Blvd between S DeSoto Ave and S Howard Ave begins January 9 for Utility Repair

On January 9 at 9 am, the southbound outside lane of Bayshore Blvd between S DeSoto Ave and S Howard Ave will be closed while Wastewater Department crews begin emergency repairs to a gravity sewer mainline. Additionally, the southbound turn lane and bicycle lane will also be closed. Motorists will be shifted to the inside southbound lane. Signage and traffic control devices will be in the area to assist with rerouting and traffic flow. Access will be maintained for residences and businesses in the area. Motorists are advised to consider alternate routes and use caution when driving in the area.

This repair and restoration of the road is scheduled to be completed no later than Friday, January 12. Normal traffic patterns will then resume.
