Starting at 9 am on January 16, the westbound lanes of W Azeele St between Henderson Blvd and S Himes Ave are closing while Wastewater Department crews begin repairs to a gravity sewer mainline. Eastbound lanes will remain open. Detour signage and traffic control devices will be in the area to assist with rerouting and traffic flow. Access will be maintained for residences and businesses in the area. Motorists are advised to consider alternate routes and use caution when driving in the area.
This repair and restoration of the road is scheduled to be completed no later than Friday, January 19. Normal traffic patterns will then resume.
