Due to adverse weather conditions, all southbound lanes of North Himes Avenue between West Lemon Street and West Cass Street will remain closed as the Tampa Water Department continues road restoration activities following an earlier water main break. Barricades and signs are located in the area to assist with traffic flow. Please consider alternate routes and use caution when driving in the area. Modifications may be necessary during the course of the work.
The completion of the work with a return to normal traffic patterns is now expected by 4 pm, Monday, January 22. The Tampa Water Department may need to return at a later date to complete additional work. An update will be provided at that time. Work schedules are contingent upon weather conditions.
