Beginning at 9am today, only the outside southbound lane of North Armenia Avenue will remain closed between West Violet Street and West Louisiana Avenue while the Tampa Water Department completes additional repairs following earlier work to repair a water main break. Barricades and signs are located in the area to assist with traffic flow. All lanes will reopen to traffic by 5pm each day and then close again the following morning at 9am to continue the work. Please use caution when driving in the area.
The completion of the work with a return to normal traffic patterns is expected to be completed 5pm, Thursday, February 29. The Tampa Water Department may need to return at a later date to complete additional work. An update will be provided at that time. Work schedules are contingent upon weather conditions. The staff and crews of the Tampa Water Department appreciate everyone's patience during this time.
