Starting Tuesday, June 4 at 9am, Wastewater Department crews are closing the southbound lane on S Himes Avenue at the intersection of West Ballast Point Blvd to begin an emergency repair on a wastewater force main pipe and restore a cave-in. Signage and traffic control devices will be on site to assist with rerouting and traffic flow. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses in the area. Motorists are advised to consider alternate routes and use caution when driving in the area.
This repair and restoration of the work area are scheduled to be completed no later than close of business on Friday, June 7. Normal traffic patterns will then resume. Work schedules are contingent upon weather conditions. See all road closures at www.tampagov.net/RoadClosures
