TAMPA, Fla.- Tampa Police arrested two men on charges related to a deadly shooting in the 500 block of S. Howard Ave last month.
Jakhari Filmore (B/M DOB: 12/16/1998) and Darryl Hill (B/M DOB: 1/05/2000) are charged with Felon in Possession Firearm (Felony) after they were identified through investigative means as being in the area at the time of the shooting.
Investigators are currently working to determine if they were involved in the shooting. Officers on patrol responded to shots fired on May 12, 2024, shortly before 3:00 a.m. Kenneth Washington (B/M) and Kevon Christmas (B/M) died from their injuries as a result of the shooting.
This remains an active investigation. Additional charges could be forthcoming.
