In observance of Thanksgiving, City of Tampa offices will be closed on Thursday, November 28, 2024, and Friday, November 29, 2024.
Commercial and Residential Customers will not receive collection service on Thursday, November 28, 2024.
The revised collection schedule is as follows:
- Residential Customers who normally receive service on Thursday, November 28, 2024, will receive service on Friday, November 29, 2024. Customers who normally receive service on Friday will receive service on Saturday, November 30, 2024. Regular Solid Waste collection service schedules will resume on Monday, December 2, 2024.
- Commercial Customers who normally receive service on Thursday, November 28, 2024, will receive service on Friday, November 29, 2024. Collection service will continue to run one day behind through Saturday, November 30, 2024. Regular Solid Waste collection service schedules will resume on Monday, December 2, 2024.
- Commercial customers with a 65 or 95-gallon cart should follow the residential schedule.
- McKay Bay Transfer Station and Scale House, located at 114 S. 34th St., will be closed to the public on Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 28, 2024) and Friday, November 29, 2024. McKay Bay Transfer Station will reopen to the public with regularly scheduled hours on Saturday, November 30, 2024.
