Tampa Solid Waste Department Revises Service Collection Due to Tropical Storm Eta

As a result of the impacts of Tropical Storm Eta, City of Tampa solid waste services is being affected as follows: 

 

  • Residential Customers will not receive collection service on Thursday, November 12, 2020.Residential customers normally scheduled to receive service on Thursday, will receive collection on their next regularly scheduled service day.
  • Commercial Customers will not receive collection service on Thursday, November 12, 2020.Commercial customers normally receiving collection service on Thursday will be serviced on the following day, Friday, November 13, 2020. Collection will continue to run one-day behind through Saturday, November 14, 2020. Regular collection service schedules will resume Monday, November 16, 2020.  
  • McKay Bay Transfer Station and Scale House located at 114 S. 34th St., will be closed Thursday, November 12, 2020 and will resume normal operating hours on Friday, November 13, 2020.
