The City of Tampa and Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh USA, Inc. (“HSS”) invites the public to enjoy “Darshana: A Glimpse into Hindu Civilization,” a nationwide traveling exhibition that provides a glimpse into Hindu Dharma and Hindu Civilization.
Located at Old City Hall (315 E. Kennedy Blvd, Tampa, FL 33602) in the Sister Cities Room (1st Floor), this free exhibit will be open from 9am – 5pm on April 17, 2022 through April 29, 2022.
Local elected officials will join HSS leadership for the official inauguration of the exhibit and lamp lighting on April 28, 2022 at 12:30pm. Media members are invited to cover the event.
The exhibition features a variety of topics, ranging from yoga and divinity to mathematics and administration, demonstrating how Hindu knowledge has manifested in all aspects of human endeavor.
Compiled by a group of Hindu-Americans, the programming aims to clear misconceptions, introduce some key terms, and inspire further research into the rich culture that has found its home in the United States and globally.
