Description
This project provides for intersection improvements and a new traffic signal.
Two new mast arm traffic signals at the intersection of W Cleveland Street and S Rome Avenue will be constructed and additional minor geometric changes will be made as appropriate. Improvements include curb bulb-outs, new crosswalks, pedestrian signals, ADA-compliant ramps, detectable warning mats, and drainage modifications.
New signals will reduce severe right-angle traffic crashes and provide better transportation network connectivity for all modes.
