Closure of S. Howard Ave. between W. Swann Ave Platt St. to begin on June 26, 2024, for Road Construction Tampa, FL

S. Howard Ave. between W. Swann Ave. and Platt St. will be closed from 9 am to 2pm on Wednesday June 25, 2024, for roadway resurfacing. The City of Tampa’s Mobility Operations Division will be resurfacing the roadway on N. Howard Ave. between W. Swann Ave. and Platt St.

The sidewalks in the work areas will be open during construction.

All lanes on S. Howard Ave. between W. Swann Ave. and Platt St. will reopen to traffic by 2 pm daily.

The City of Tampa recommends using alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.
