Beginning at 9am today, the northbound lane of Bayshore Boulevard will be closed between Bayshore Vista Drive and West Helen Avenue while the Tampa Water Department repairs a water main break. The lane will reopen to traffic at 4pm today and remain open during the weekend before closing at 9am on Monday, July 22. The lane will then reopen by 4pm before closing again the following morning at 9am to continue the work. Barricades and flaggers will be located in the area to assist with traffic flow. Please use caution when driving in the area. Modifications may be necessary during the course of the work.
The completion of the work with a return to normal traffic patterns is expected by 4pm, Tuesday, July 23. Work schedules are contingent upon weather conditions. The staff and crews of the Tampa Water Department appreciate everyone's patience during this time.
