Beginning at 9am today (07/17/2023), the eastbound lane of East Broadway Avenue will close between North 71st Street and North 73rd Street while the Tampa Water Department repairs a water main break. Barricades and flaggers will be located in the area to assist with rerouting and traffic flow. All lanes will reopen to traffic by 5pm today and then close again on Tuesday, July 18, at 9am to continue the work. Please use caution when driving in the area.
The completion of the work with a return to normal traffic patterns is expected by 5pm, Tuesday, July 18. Work schedules are contingent upon weather conditions. The staff and crews of the Tampa Water Department appreciate everyone's patience during this time.
