Lane Closures on S Florida Ave Between E Brorein St and E Whiting St for Emergency Repair

Starting today, June 13, the easternmost northbound lanes of S Florida Avenue will be closed between E Brorein Street and E Whiting Street to allow for emergency repairs on a sewer pipeline that collapsed in Florida Avenue. One northbound lane on Florida Avenue will remain open. The repair and road restoration are scheduled to be completed by Thursday, June 15, 2023.

A high-resolution map of the detour routes and work area has been embedded below. The City of Tamp recommends that motorists use alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion
