On March 12 at 9am, Wastewater Department crews are closing a segment of the northbound lane on S West Shore Blvd between W Bay Vista Ave and W Flamingo Rd to repair a sewer lateral connection. Signage and traffic control devices will be in the area directing northbound motorists to merge into the southbound center turn lane. Once past the work site they will be directed to merge back into the northbound lane. Turn restrictions will also be in place. Access will be maintained for residences and businesses in the area. Motorists are advised to consider alternate routes and use caution when driving in the area.
The repair and restoration of the work area are scheduled to be completed no later than close of business on Friday, March 15. Normal traffic patterns will then resume.
